Explain the P-Shot® Procedure

  1. We draw a small amount of blood from your arm.

  2. The blood is then placed in a centrifuge to spin and separate the plasma from the fibrin. This takes about 5 minutes.

  3. Once the sample is done spinning, we then extract out the layer of platelet rich fibrin (PRF) into a syringe.

  4. Numbing cream is applied to your penis to ensure comfort during the procedure.

  5. We then use a very small needle to inject the PRF (and the Botox, if you are doing a combination procedure) into multiple locations in the penis. The entire appointment takes about 30 minutes and you can go home right after your appointment with no downtime.

We understand this is a sensitive matter for some and your privacy and comfort is of the utmost importance to us!

Why the P-Shot®?

We are now offering the P-Shot® (Priapus Shot®) procedure combined with 100 units of Botox–the combination of the two is called the P-Shot 100™ (Priapus Toxin™) procedure at Sola Vie.

The P-Shot® procedure, or Priapus Shot®, is a medical procedure that involves injecting platelet-rich plasma (PRP) into the penis. It's primarily used as a treatment for erectile dysfunction (ED) and other sexual performance issues. Additionally, it is an amazing treatment for a confidence boost and increased stamina. Here are some potential benefits associated with the P-Shot® and Priapus Toxin™ procedure:

  1. Improved Erectile Function: One of the primary aims of the P-Shot® is to enhance erectile function. By injecting PRP into the penis, it may stimulate tissue regeneration and improve blood flow, leading to stronger and longer-lasting erections.

  2. Increased Sensitivity: The P-Shot® and Bocox™ can increase sensitivity in the penis, potentially leading to heightened sexual pleasure and improved sexual experiences.

  3. Enhanced Sexual Performance: For men experiencing difficulties with sexual performance, such as maintaining an erection or achieving orgasm, the P-Shot® may offer improvements that can enhance overall sexual satisfaction.

  4. Non-Invasive Option: Unlike surgical treatments for ED, the P-Shot® is a minimally invasive procedure that involves injecting PRP derived from the patient's own blood. This makes it a relatively low-risk option for men seeking to improve their sexual health.

  5. Increased Efficacy of Medication: For individuals who take oral medications such as Viagra or Cialis, the P-Shot® procedure provides an adjunct treatment option that will make their medications work even better!

  6. Potential for Long-lasting Effects: While individual results may vary, some men report experiencing improvements in erectile function and sexual performance for several months after receiving the P-Shot®.

  7. Treatment for Peyronie's Disease: In addition to ED, the P-Shot® procedure has also been explored as a potential treatment for Peyronie's disease, a condition characterized by the development of fibrous scar tissue inside the penis, which can cause curvature and pain during erections.

It's important to note that the effectiveness of the P-Shot® may vary from person to person.

Please book a consultation for more information about which procedure or combination of treatments would be right for you.

How Does the P-Shot® Work?

The P-Shot 100™ (Priapus Toxin™) procedure is a specific method of injecting blood-derived growth factors, including platelet-rich plasma (or platelet-rich fibrin matrix) and botulinum neurotoxin (Botox), to improve the health of the penis and enhance the size or function of the penis. The procedure includes patient selection, method of preparation of materials, method of injection, aftercare, and more.

Stimulation of Tissue Growth: The growth factors present in the PRP stimulate the body's natural healing process and promote the regeneration of tissues in the penis. This can lead to improvements in erectile function, as well as potential increases in sensitivity and overall sexual satisfaction.

Enhanced Blood Flow: By promoting the growth of new blood vessels and improving circulation in the penis, the P-shot can enhance blood flow to the erectile tissue, leading to stronger and longer-lasting erections.

The effect of botulinum toxin (Botox) on the penis appears to involve the relaxation of smooth muscle in arterioles, leading to enhanced blood flow, and in one study, a minor increase in length. This mechanism mirrors the action of medications like Viagra and Tri-mix injections, which augment erection firmness by boosting arterial flow. Two distinct studies have shown that botulinum toxin injections were beneficial for certain men, albeit not all, who had ceased to respond to Viagra and Cialis.
