Botox, Jeuveau, & Xeomin at Sola Vie
Neuromodulators are a popular and effective treatment for reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. At Sola Vie Skin Clinic, we offer three leading neuromodulator options: Botox®, Xeomin®, and Jeuveau®. Each of these treatments can help you achieve a more youthful, refreshed appearance.
How Neuromodulators Work
Botox®, Xeomin®, and Jeuveau® all contain botulinum toxin type A as their active ingredient. When injected into specific facial muscles, these neuromodulators temporarily block nerve signals, reducing muscle contractions that cause wrinkles. The result is smoother, more youthful-looking skin.

Preparing for Your Neuromodulator Treatment
To ensure the best possible results from your Botox®, Xeomin®, or Jeuveau® treatment at Sola Vie, follow these preparation guidelines:
Avoid blood thinners: Stop taking aspirin, ibuprofen, and other blood-thinning medications or supplements for at least a week before your appointment, unless otherwise directed by your healthcare provider.
Limit alcohol consumption: Refrain from drinking alcohol for 24 hours before your treatment to reduce the risk of bruising.
Stay hydrated: Drink plenty of water in the days leading up to your appointment to keep your skin hydrated and promote optimal results.
Avoid certain skincare products: Discontinue use of retinoids, glycolic acid, and other potentially irritating skincare products for a few days before your treatment.
Arrive with a clean face: On the day of your appointment, come with a clean face free of makeup, moisturizers, or other skincare products.
Inform your provider: Let us know about any medications you're taking, allergies, or recent facial treatments you've had.
Plan your schedule: While there's minimal downtime associated with neuromodulator treatments, you may want to avoid scheduling important events immediately after your appointment.
By following these preparation steps and working closely with our experienced team at Sola Vie, you can maximize the effectiveness of your neuromodulator treatment and achieve the best possible results.

PRODUCTS WE CURRENTLY OFFER
Jeuveau® — see important safety information here
Jeuveau is a cosmetic injectable treatment that's used to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, particularly those caused by repetitive facial movements like squinting or frowning. It's made from botulinum toxin type A, which works by temporarily relaxing the muscles that cause wrinkles, giving the skin a smoother and more youthful appearance. Jeuveau is often used to treat areas such as frown lines between the eyebrows, commonly known as "11" lines, or "crow's feet" around the eyes.
The treatment is quick, typically taking just a few minutes, and the results usually become noticeable within a few days, with full effects appearing within about 2 weeks. The effects of Jeuveau typically last for several months, after which additional treatments may be needed to maintain results.
Xeomin® — see important safety information here
Xeomin is a cosmetic injectable treatment similar to Botox and Dysport, as it's also derived from botulinum toxin type A. It's used to reduce the appearance of wrinkles by temporarily relaxing the muscles that cause them.
The main difference between Xeomin and other injectables lies in its formulation. Xeomin contains only the active ingredient botulinum toxin type A, without any additives or proteins. This can potentially reduce the risk of developing antibodies to the treatment, making it a suitable option for some patients who may have developed resistance to other botulinum toxin products.
